Mavent Promotes Executive

Irvine-based Mavent has promoted Ryder Smith from VP Government Relations to Senior Vice President of Operations. The provider of automated compliance solutions for the financial services industry said that Smith will oversee deployment of product systems, quality assurance, and database maintenance. Mavent is backed by Financial Technology Ventures.
