MaxLinear In Design Win With Satellite Equipment Maker

Carlsbad-based radio frequency (RF) chip maker MaxLinear is in a design win with satellite equipment operator Pro Brand International, according to the company. Financial impact of the customer win was not announced. MaxLinear said that Pro Brand INternational is using its systems-on-a-chip for a direct braodcast, satellite digital antenna. Shipping volumes were not announced.
