Irvine-based WebVisible reported Thursday that The McClatchy Company is extending its SearchMax interactive advertising product sales to the Miami Herald, after a successful deployment at the Star Tribune. WebVisible's product will be sold by The Miami Herald's print and interactive ad sales divisions. The application helps local businesses advertise on Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask.com, and other search engines. WebVisible is backed by Redpoint Ventures.
