Media Services Acquires Software Title

Los Angeles-based Media Services, a provider of accounting and payroll software for the entertainment industry, said Wednesday that it has acquired CompanyMOVE ShowPlanner. CompanyMOVE ShowPlanner is software used for scheduling film, TV, and commercial productions. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Media Services, it will relaunch the software as Showbiz Scheduling.
