Carlsbad-based Medsphere Systems, which develops open source healthcare software, said today that it has named John Bright as Vice President of Sales and marketing. Bright joins the company from Henry Schein Medical Systems, and also has served at Health Research Sciences, BrightCAM Solutions, and Mountain Medical Technologies. Medsphere develops a suite of clinical support products and services focused on electronic health record systems.
