MeLLmo Expands In Europe

San Diego-based MeLLmo, the developer of the Roambi mobile business intelligence software applications for the iPhone, said today that it has expanded in Europe, and has opened up offices in the UK, France, Spain, and Germany. MeLLmo said it hs named Ali Shirnia as its Vice President and General Manager of EMEA, in its EMEA headquarters in London. Shirnia joins from Vodafone UK, and also has served at Speechwork International, Wicom Communications and EMC. The European expansion comes about a month after a big, $30M funding injection in the company from Sequoia Capital.
