Microsemi Buys Centellax
Aliso Viejo-based Microsemi, the mixed signal semiconductor developer, said this morning that it has agreed to acquire Centellax, a developer of high speed, analog and RF semiconductors for the optical communications and Ethernet market. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Microsemi explained that the move will help it expand its communication product offerings. Microsemi said the deal will not have a material effect on either its revenues or expenses. Centellax was advised by Stifel and Bryan Cave LLP in the deal.
