Irvine-based Microsemi, a manufacturer of analog and mixed signal integrated circuits, said this week that it has formed a new High Performance Analog Mixed Signal Group. The group will incorporate Microsemi's existing high performance analog mixed signal business plus the product lines from the firm's recent acquisition of Israeli firm PowerDsine. The firm also appointed a new Executive VP to head the group, Steven G. Litchfield. Litchfield has been at Microsemi since 2001. More information »
