Newport Beach-based Mindspeed Technologies (www.mindspeed.com) has been selected by LG Electronics for LG's new CDMA2000 wireless base stations. LG will use Mindspeed's CX28229 and CX28225 silicon for providing inverse multiplexing over ATM support. According to the company, Mindspeed's devices will enable transporting traffic across multiple T1/E1 links between base stations.
