Mindspeed Rolls Out VoIP Processors
Newport Beach-based Mindspeed Technologies, a developer of semiconductor products, announced today that it has rolled out a version of its Comcerto processors specifically geared towards voice-over-IP processing. According to the firm, the Comcerto 300xv family of voice-over-IP processing products includes both hardware and software for signaling and control processing for next-generation network, IP multimedia, and IP-PBX equipment. The firm also said it has scored a design win using the processor with ZTE, a developer of telecommunications and network solutions. Financial impact of that deal was not disclosed. Mindspeed said its Comcerto 300xv is sampling now and will go into volume production in the second half of the year.
