    MindTouch Upgrades Wiki Software

San Diego-based MindTouch said Wednesday that it has upgraded its open source wiki software. The firm said its new release, MindTouch Deki Wiki v8.05, specifically adds international language support. According to MindTouch, the new language features were developed for Mozilla, in order to allow the open source foundation to host multiple languages on its site. The new support includes multilingual content management, support for multiple languages in search, along with better tools for managing users, IP and user banning, new functions in its scripting language, along with support for OpenSearch. Mindtouch develops wiki software specifically targeted at enterprise customers; the firm counts Microsoft, Fujitsu, Siemens, Gannett, FedEx, U.S. Army, DoD and others as customers.
