Molecular Assemblies Gains $25.8M For DNA Synthesis

San Diego-based Molecular Assemblies, a company developing enzymatic DNA synthesis technology, announced this morning that it has raised $25.8M in its Series B financing round. The funding included Casdin Capital, plus Agilent Technologies, iSelect Fund, Codexis, LYFE Capital, and Argonautic Ventures. The company said the funding will go to advance its proprietary enzymatic DNA syntehsis technology, including early commercialization and a key customer program. Michael J. Kamdar is President and CEO of Molecular Assemblies.
