Santa Ana-based MSC.Software, a developer of software for the CAD/CAM simulation market, said Tuesday that it has acquired MacNeal Group, a provider of simulation software for systems design. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The MacNeal Group develops computer aided engineering (CAE) software for simulating parts designs.
