MusicIP Inks Deal With Memorex

Monrovia, California-based MusicIP, a provider of music discovery technology, has inked a deal with Memorex to provide its music discovery technology in a line of new digital audio players. Memorex said today that it has launched a new line of audio players which can automatically create dynamic playlists based on a user's mood. the new music players include 4GB, 2GB, and 1GB models with support for MP3 and WMA audio. MusicIP is a venture-backed firm that uses acoustic characteristics to help users discover music and create playlists.
