MySpace Launches Channel with "Land of the Lost" Creators

Los Angeles-based MySpace, the online social networking web site, said late Wednesday that it has inked a deal with Sid and Marty Krofft Pictures, a developer of children's television shows, to create new full-length licensed content on a new branded channel . Sid and Marty Krofft were behind the 1970's and 80's shows "H.R. Pufnstuf," "Land of the Lost," "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters," and "The Bugaloos." Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. According to MySpace, the branded channel on MySpaceTV will include short-form episodes from the original series, clips, and full-length content.
