Los Angeles-based social networking web site MySpace, and NBC News said late Monday evening that the two are in a partnership to launch a new, 2008 Presidential Election web site. The new site, named Decision '08, will focus on 2008 election related news, analysis, and discussion. According to the firms, the new site will allow MySpace users to access up-to-the-minute election coverage, news feeds, and daily videos from NBC News and msnbc.com. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. msnbc.com will also include the site as a link to its Politics home page. The effort is part of the MySpace IMPACT Channel, which focuses on politics, non-profits, and civic organizations.
