Napster to Launch Japanese Music Subscription Service
Los Angeles-based Napster said today that it will soon be launching its first deployment of its over-the-air music subscription service in Japan. Napster said this morning that the service, which is a joint venture with Tower Records Japan and NTT DoCoMo, will offer wireless access to its unlimited music service for DoCoMo's wireless phones. Napster's over the air music service is an extension of Napster's PC-based Napster To Go music service, and will be available for free to existing Napster To Go subscribers.
