Netflix Ordered To Pay $42M To Writers

Online streaming service Netflix has been ordered to pay $42M to writers, according to Deadline. Netflix had been taken to arbitration by the WGA (Writers Guild of America) for underpayment of writer's residuals for the theatrical motion picture Bird Box. Netflix has operations in Los Angeles, and many of the writers involved in Netflix productions are based in Hollywood.
