NetPlenish Launches, Lands $1.9M
Ventura-based NetPlenish, the mobile shopping service startup headed by Dave Compton, said today that it has launched with $1.9M in a seed funding round, and has started offering up its service to automatically replenish everyday items for users from e-commerce sites.The funding came from 500 Startups, the investment fun of Dave McClure, Gold Hill Capital, BHV Capital, TEEC Angel Fund, Ludlow Ventures, as well as others. NetPlenish designs iPhone and Android apps which help consumers automatically re-order products they use on an everyday basis, like toothpaste, diapers, dog food, and other products. The firm says it automatically place orders on services such as Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, Drugstore.com, and Sephora. NetPlenish is one of the firms located in the Ventura Ventures Technology Center. More information »
