Networks In Motion Reports Subscriber Growth

Aliso Viejo-based Networks In Motion, a developer of wireless location-based services, is trumpeting today that it has exceeded one million paid users of its services. Networks In Motion said that those subscribers are paying $9.99 per month, or $2.99 per day for its turn-by-turn, voice-promted navigation system. The company's system is being offered by Verizon Wireless, Alltel, and TELUS to their subscribers. Networks In Motion also said it is in a partnership with the AAA to offer its services through the group's mobile phone service later this year.
