Neural Analytics Gets $10M For Concussion Assessment Devices
Los Angeles-based Neural Analytics, which is developing medical devices to help first responders and other medical professionals to diagnose and assess Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), announced today that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from JSR Limited and Taiyu Capital. The company said the funding brings its total raised to $13M. The startup, led by Leo Petrossian, says it is developing products to help assess concussions, particularly athletes who play sports with a high rate of concussion. The company says an estimated 1.7 million people suffer from TBI and another 3.8 million Americans experience a concussion each year. More information »
