Novogene Opens Gene Sequencing Center At UC Davis

San Diego-based Novogene, a provider of genomic sequencing services, said it has opened up a genomics sequencing enter at the University of California, Davis, in Sacramento. According to the company--which is headquartered in China, but has its U.S. headquarters in San Diego--the new center is expected to open in early May. Novogene said it provides whole genome sequencing and analysis of human, plant and animal samples for biomedical and agricultural research. Novogene works closely with gene sequencing equipment maker Illumina, which is also in San Diego.
