Pasadena-based OpenX, maker of the popular web advertising server of the same name, said Monday that it has launched a new set of professional services and support packages for web publishers. The firm, which is venture backed by Accel Partners, Index Ventures and O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, said that its packages will provide a variety of installation, upgrade, and training services. The new services are aimed at large and medium sized publishers. OpenX develops open source software used by online web publishers to manage advertising placement on their sites. The firm recently moved its headquarters to the Los Angeles area from Europe. Pricing of the new services was not released.
