Oversee.net Gets $150M Investment

Los Angeles-based online marketer and domain name firm Oversee.net said this morning that it has raised $150M in an investment from private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners. According to Oversee, the funding will be used to augment the firm's growth and acquire technologies to enhance its services. The deal is expected to close by the end of the month. Specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The investment is the first for Oversee.net, which has not taken any prior funding. Oversee.net operates a number of consumer lead generation businesses and DomainSponsor, a service for "domainers" which monetizes web traffic for domain owners.
