Oversee's SnapNames Goes Into Live Auctions

SnapNames, the domain name aftermarket service owned by Los Angeles-based Oversee.net, said Thursday that it will debut a new live auction system for domains in January. The new service will allow buyers of domain names to bid in a live auction, and will focus on premium domain names in the SnapNames service. According to Oversee, the live auction system will be called SnapNames Live, and will debut at its upcoming DOMAINfest Global event in January. Oversee's SnapNames service provides auctions of expired and deleting domain names, those domains that have been abandoned by their owners or otherwise allowed to lapse from registration. SnapNames is located in Portland, Oregon, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oversee.net.
