Paramount Pictures has kicked off a promotion of the upcoming movie SUPER 8 with Twitter, the two announced today, by running a special sneak preview promotion only available to Twitter users. According to Paramount, Twitter users will be able to buy tickets for a special, June 9th showing of the movie from a Twitter "Promoted Trend" at select, participating theaters. The two have been promoting the movie since March, when they started offering up a trailer via Twitter. Financial details of the link have not been disclosed, however, the two said in March that the SUPER 8 promotion deal is the first ever for the Twitter.
