Pharos Ships Windows GPS Phone

Torrance-based Pharos Science & Applications said this week that it has shipped a new Windows phone which combines the firm's GPS technology with access T-Mobile and AT&T wireless networks. According to Pharos, the new Traveler 137 phone is based on Windows, and includes voice-prompted navigation system, GPS capability, an on-board phone, and other features. The phone lists for $599.95. Pharos is a developer of GPS navigation devices and other related products.
