Playcast Raises $10M For Video Game Streaming




Los Angeles-based Playcast Media Systems said this morning that it has raised $10M in a new, Series B funding round, for the firm's cloud based video game streaming service. Playcast said the new round was led by MK Capital, and also included Israeli venture capital firm JVP, Xenia Venture Capital, and C.Mer Industries. The firm said that Gadi Tirosh of JVP and Yair Landau of MK Capital are joining the firm's board as part of the funding. PlayCast's customers include Activision, THQ, Capcom, and Atari.
