PTI Marketing Technologies Acquired By Ricoh

Solana Beach-based PTI Marketing Technologies, a developer of a software-as-a-service, marketing and collateral management tool, has been acquired by office equipment and technology company Ricoh Company, Ltd.. Exact financial terms of what Ricoh described as a "multi-million" dollar acquisition were not announced. Ricoh was already an investor in PTI, having made an investment in the company in August of 2012. Ricoh said the buy will help the companies continue to develop new marketing collateral management tools for enterprise and commercial printers. PTI will continue to be headed by President and CEO Coleman Kane, and continue with its existing management team, structure, and office in Solana Beach.
