QLogic Loses CFO

Aliso Viejo-based storage networking equipment manufacturer QLogic said Monday afternoon that Tony Massetti, the firm's Senior Vice President and CFO, has resigned. QLogic said that Massetti will resign upon completion of the firm's fiscal third quarter earnings announcement, in late January 2008. No reason for Massetti's departure were given. The firm said Doug Naylor, the firm's VP of Finance, will assume day-to-day financial management, and that it will begin a search for a replacement CFO immediately. QLogic is a manufacturer of host bus adapters, chips, and switches for the storage area networking market.
