Qualcomm Boosts QPrize Winner Enterproid

San Diego-based Qualcomm is putting its money behind one of the winners of its second annual QPrize Venture Investment Competition, New York-based Enterproid, Enterproid revealed Thursday. According to Enterproid, it has raised $11M in a Series A funding round, led by Comcast Ventures and which also included both Qualcomm Ventures and Google Ventures, for its mobile enterprise software which allow enterprise users to access their corporate information from their own, personal mobile devices. Enterproid was the winner of the QPrize Competition in February of this year, the only US-based company in the finals of that competition, scoring $250,000 in that competition from Qualcomm. It's unclear if the new funding includes more than the initial $250,000 from Qualcomm, or if additional funds have been invested by Qualcomm in the new round. More information »
