Qualcomm Life Ties With WebMD

San Diego-based Qualcomm said this morning that its subsidiary, Qualcomm Life, has joined with health information site WebMD. According to the companies, the two have linked to enable consumers to access and manage their wireless health data from fitness, wellness and medical devices. Financial terms of the link were not disclosed. The new collaboration revolves around Qualcomm's 2net Hub API and SDK, which lets health care device providers communicate wirelessly. The two companies did not elaborate further on the integration effort.
