San Diego-based Quidel, a developer of medical diagnostic tests, said Friday that it has completed its $130M acquisition of Diagnostic Hybrids. Diagnostic Hybrids was located in Athens, Ohio, and develops in-vitro diagnostic assays used by hospitals and reference laboratories. Quidel said that Diagnostic Hybrids had $51M in revenues in 2009.
