Replicated Gets $5M

Los Angeles-based Replicated, a company that uses container technology to encapsulate software-as-a-service applications into on-premise runnable instances, has raised $5M in a Series A, according to the company. The funding was led by Amplify Partners, and also included Webb Investment Network, BoldStart Ventures, Founder Collective, TenOneTen, Mucker Capital and others. The company, led by Grant Miller, said it will use the funding to scale it engineering team. Replicated says its tools can take any containerized cloud application and deploy it behind a customer's firewall, into a corporate data center or into a private cloud. More information »
