reQall Adds MIT MediaLab Professor As Advisor

reQall, the wearable software developer headed by former Apple Principal Scientist Rao Machiraju, said this morning that it has tapped MIT MediaLab Professor Alex (Sandy) Pentland as a strategic product advisor. Pentland has been called the "Godfather of Wearable Technologies". reQall--which has major operations in Ventura--said that Pentaland will advise the company on product evolution and strategy. Pentland was the founder of the MIT MediaLab Human Dynamics Laboratory, which pioneered many of the techniques behind the current wearable products market, including Google Glass. reQall is developing software which runs on Google Glass, smartphones, and other devices and helps people better manage their daily activities and communications. reQall's headquarters are in Moffett Field, but Machiraju is a Ventura County resident.
