ResMed Acquires HEALTHCAREfirst

San Diego-based ResMed, a developer of healthcare software, has acquired HEALTHCAREfirst, a developer of cloud-based software for the home health and hospice area. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. HEALTHCAREfirst develops electronic health records software, billing and coding services, and other related software for home health and hospice agencies. ResMed said it will use the buy to help complement its existing software solutions offered by its subsidiary, Brightree. ResMed said that the transaction "will not be material" to its financial results.
