San Diego-based ResMed, a developer of medical equipment for treating sleep disorders, said today that it has acquired Irish medical technology firm BiancaMed Ltd.. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. BiancaMed is a developer of devices to monitor sleep and breathing. BiancaMed 's investors included ePlanet Ventures and Resmed itself.
