Richard Riordan, Former VC and Mayor of LA, Dies At 92

Richard Riordan, the venture capitalist who became mayor of Los Angeles, has died at the age of 92. Riordan started out in law, working for O'Melveny & Myers, and then co-founded investment firm Riordan & McKinzie, and also went on to start venture capital investment firm Riordan, Lewis & Haden along with Christopher Lewis and Pat Haden. Riordan served as Mayor of Los Angeles from 1993 to 2001.
