Rincon Backs Keen IO In New Round

Santa Barbara-based venture investor Rincon Ventures has backed portfolio company Keen IO, in a followup investment in that company's Series B. Keen IO, which is based in San Francisco, said it raised $14.7M in a funding round from Pelion Ventures, along with Sequoia Capital, Rincon Venture Partners, Amplify Partners, Rothenberg Ventures, Techstars, 500 Startups, Heavybit and Galvanize Ventures. Rincon Ventures' Jim Andelman is on the board of Keen IO, and the company is one of the original investors in Keen IO, which has now raised $30M in total. Keen IO develops software APIs used for data analytics and data visualization. More information »
