El Segundo-based Ripple, which operates a network of information video screens at retail locations, said today that it has signed a deal with a subsidiary of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, to deploy its screens into Einstein Bros. Bagels and Noah's New York Bagels restaurants across the country. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ripple's screens provide localized information and advertising to retail locations. Ripple said the deal expands its footprint in the Midwest and Eastern regions, and particularly in Chicago, Boston, Detroit, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Miami. Ripple also has similar deals with Borders, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Robeks and Tully’s Coffee. The company is venture backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Trinity Ventures.
