Robertson Funds Eyespot

Michael Robertson, founder of MP3.com, has funded another, Web 2.0 style firm in San Diego. Eyespot launched yesterday, and said that the new company will provide an online, AJAX-based video editor. The firm launched its first public version of its software, which allows users to upload their videos to the web, remix those videos online, add music tracks, and share those videos. In an email, Robertson said that he had provided angel funding for the company, providing the firm $50,000 as an angel investor. Eyespot includes the ability to send mixed video to cell phones, and the ability to grab videos from other sources to use in video mixes. The service is free. More information »
