Los Angeles-based the Rubicon Project, the Mayfield and Clearstone backed online advertising optimization startup, said this morning that it has added a new program which the firm said will provide high-quality, certified website inventory for advertisers. According to the firm, the new program allows advertisers to access safe, high quality website inventory which the company has put through a 21-point certification checklist and ratings system. The new program targets concerns of advertisers about how brand-safe web sites are, and accuracy of ad placement and targeting. Rubicon Project was founded by Frank Addante, one of the founders of L90/adMonitor.
