Rubicon Selected By Apple For iAd
Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project said Wednesday that it has been selected by Apple, to help power Apple's iAd mobile advertising product. Rubicon said the deal gives it access to over 250,000 mobile developers. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. It has been a busy week for Rubicon Project, which announced on Monday that it had acquired two companies--iSocket and Shiny Ads, in stock deals worth around a total of $30M. Rubicon Project's Josh Wexler said at the company's NewCo Los Angeles event today that acquisitions like iSocket and Shiny Ads are part of an ongoing strategy of keeping the company innovative and ahead of the industry.
