San Diego Angel Conference Names Finalists In Competition

The San Diego Angel Conference, a program run by the University of San Diego (USD) Knauss School of Business, says it has selected six finalist in an investment competition it is running for startups. The company said it selected those six companies out of a total of 90 companies nationwide. The company said the finalists include BrainSpace (neurocritical care), First Light Coffee Whiskey (environmentall conscious spirits), CARI Health (remote medication monitoring), Hera Biotech (non-surgical test for endometriosis), LifEngine Animal Health Laboratories (gene editing and cancer treatment), and ReJoule (battery testing). The San Diego Angel Conference says companies can win up to $1M in the competition, with around $200K going to the winner.
