San Diego-based SciVee, which operates an online Internet video site focused on advancing scientific knowledge, has inked a deal with Thomson Reuters, the firms said Monday. According to the companies, Thomson Reuters will allow users of its ScholarOne Abstracts product the ability to capture live meetings, and share their content via SciVee. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. SciVee was created in 2007 as a joint initiative of the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) at UCSD, and is headed by Marc Friedmann.
