Costa Mesa-based SEMICOA, a developer of high reliability semiconductors, reported Thursday that it has hired Harry James as its Vice President of Total Quality. James has previously served at Texas Instruments, Fairchild, Hewlett-Packard, Signetics, and Apple Computer. SEMICOA is backed by private equity firm Vance Street Capital. The firm said it has hired over 40 former and new employees since August, when it was spun back out of Microsemi after a settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice.
