Semtech, Sierra Wireless See More Antitrust Inquiries

Camarillo-based semiconductor maker Semtech and Sierra Wireless said this morning that the two companies have received second requests from the U.S. Department of Justice, in connection with Semtech's previously announced acquisition of Sierra Wireless. The two said that are "cooperating fully with the DOJ in order to facilitate its review." The companies announced the $1.2 billion acquisition deal in August.
