Effective Customer Relationship Management is vital to nurturing, enhancing, and growing Thrive’s membership base. We take a data-driven, life-cycle relevant approach to develop deeper understanding of members and better serve their needs, increase engagement, ensure retention, and drive sales growth (frequency and average order value). This role is responsible for all aspects of CRM at Thrive Market including campaign design, testing, reporting, and optimization. The Head of CRM works alongside other key marketing leaders of Acquisition, Partnerships, and Brand Strategy; and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.


Applies deep knowledge, technical skill, and insight to develop strategies to maximize customer lifetime value. Defines and solves functional and operational problems that arise in the design, build, and management of successful CRM strategies leveraging all relevant channels such as email, mobile, direct mail, social, etc.
Defines KPI’s to evaluate successful customer relationship management according to established business goals. Works within budgetary guidelines to develop successful CRM strategies and productive campaigns in partnership with Merchandising and Product teams.
Thinks strategically and adapts to ever-changing business conditions and priorities.
Defines and leads the CRM team to high engagement and successful outcomes. Builds, embodies, and is a standard bearer of the company culture.
Influences and collaborates within Marketing and across the company to link business requirements with creative possibilities.
Partner with our Data Strategy team to conduct analyses and regularly report on key metrics
Demonstrates well-developed judgment and maturity when interacting with peers, colleagues, reports and partners.
Has very strong interpersonal and written communications skills. Leads small group discussions and presents to large company assemblies. Is recognized by people at all levels as a credible leader based on performance, scope of responsibility, and sound judgment.


6-10 years of progressive and relevant experience with 3+ years of successful performance in a leadership or management role.
Previous experience in a CRM role at an eCommerce company
BS/BA degree required; Master’s degree a plus
