Simula Launches Open Source Marketplace

Marina Del Rey-based Simula Labs announced this morning that its hosted, open source distribution delivery platform is now available. The firm's CoRE Network allows enterprise users to evaluate and suscribe to open source projects. The subscription-based service allows companies to download tested, version-controlled and indemnified version of open source projects. The open source marketplace addresses the need of enterprise companies to download certified, tested versions of open source projects for their production projects. Simula said the network includes solutions from Covalent Technologies, LogicBlaze, Mergere, Webtide, and Chariot Solutions. The new service will be available via annual subscription.
