Aliso Viejo-based Smith Micro Software announced this week that it has added Andrew C. Schmidt as its new CFO. Schmidt replaces Robert Scheussler, who will remain as a consultant as the company with its Sarbanes-Oxley effort. Schmidt joins from Genius Products. Smith Micro is a developer of wireless communications and utility software products for the personal computing and business market.
